Opera Singing

A renowned lyrical coloratura soprano, she embarked on an international career at a young age, gracing leading roles in operas such as "La Traviata," "Lucia di Lammermoor," "La Sonnambula," "I Puritani," and "Rigoletto." Her performances have captivated audiences in prestigious theaters worldwide, including the Vienna State Opera, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, the Deutsche Oper in Berlin, the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, and the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. She has worked under the baton of esteemed conductors like Zubin Mehta, Plácido Domingo, Seiji Ozawa, Riccardo Muti, and Lorin Maazel, and collaborated with renowned directors such as Franco Zeffirelli, Luca Ronconi, Robert Carsen, and Dario Fo.

In 2016, she transitioned to a career in directing, debuting with "Don Pasquale" at the Tenerife Auditorium and "Il viaggio a Reims" by Rossini. Her directing portfolio includes "Un giorno di Regno" by Verdi at the Martina Franca Festival, "Matilde di Shabran" and "La scala di seta" at the Rossini Festival in Wildbad, and productions of "La scala di seta" at the Verona Philharmonic, "Il viaggio a Reims" in Augsburg, and "Norma" at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna and the Carlo Felice in Genoa.

Her directorial accomplishments extend to prose works, including the comedy "Maria Callas Master Class" by Terrence McNally, featuring Mascia Musy in a production promoted by the Accademia di Santa Cecilia, and the monologue "La vedova Socrate" by Franca Valeri with Lella Costa, staged at the Piccolo Teatro in Milan in 2020.

In May 2022, she premiered "Fake Follies and Truthful Follies" at the Farnese Theater in Parma, a play she wrote and directed about opera prima donnas, produced by the "Arturo Toscanini" foundation.

She has shared her expertise through master classes in singing for actors at the “Silvio D'Amico” National Academy of Dramatic Art in Rome and teaches "art of coloratura" at the "Rodolfo Celletti" Academy in Martina Franca. Additionally, she has instructed courses in opera direction at the Verona Opera School.

Her academic achievements include a degree in Literature, Music, and Entertainment with top honors from La Sapienza University in Rome, where she completed a thesis on the history of opera direction. She is a member of the Accademia dei Filodrammatici in Milan and, in October 2023, published the book "L'Opera delle Primadonne - Extraordinary Lives of Bel Canto Divas" with Lindau publishing house.
