Composition for musical theater
Marco Taralli, born in L’Aquila in 1967.
In his musical career, the Conservatory of L’Aquila is an important part of his youthful period where he obtained a diploma in piano with full marks; in his training in composition he developed alongside Sergio Rendine while at the same time he deepened his study of conducting with Gianluigi Gelmetti in Italy and with Erwin Lukacs in Budapest at the Franz Liszt Academy.
Eclectic and versatile composer, since 1992, the year that marks his official debut as a composer with the piece Fog performed by the group Octandre of Bologna, his experiences and studies have led him to range between the most diverse genres and musical forms.
Known for a series of successful and brilliant symphonic works, operas and musical theater, he is commissioned produced and performed by the most famous musical institutions, orchestras, ensembles and soloists in the major Seasons and Festivals in Italy and abroad.

Draghi Principi e Bambini e Il Pettine d’avorio melologues on fairy tales by Angela Amico, acting voice Daniela Scarlatti; the melologues are performed in the festivals “L’altro nuovo” in Arezzo and “la musica racconta” in Sulmona and at the Teatro Puccini in Merano in collaboration with the Ensemble Metamorphosis.
