WHO WHE ARE

The Patron Association of the Cantelli Competition brings together patrons and supporters eager to actively contribute to the growth of young orchestral conducting talents.

Created to assist the Fondazione Teatro Carlo Coccia of Novara in promoting “Guido Cantelli” International Conducting Competition, the Association promotes and safeguards this important international recognition, supporting it financially and ensuring its transmission to future generations.

We Patrons believe in talent, but also in equal opportunities. That is why we support initiatives that bring young people closer to music and the development of support tools aimed at encouraging social mobility and ensuring equity in access to musical education.

DECLARATION OF INTENT

The Patrons of the Cantelli Competition are committed to supporting and promoting excellence in orchestral conducting, recognizing themselves not only as financial supporters but, above all, as active custodians of a cultural legacy that inspires and nurtures future generations of musical talent.

Their mission is to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Cantelli Competition, thereby assuming the moral responsibility to safeguard and preserve its standards of artistic excellence, guaranteeing a lasting cultural impact.

Patrons share a collective vision that values art and culture as fundamental elements of society, essential for social progress and the enrichment of human life in general.

Personalized Gold Card granting access to all events related to the Cantelli Competition 2026 leading up to the elimination rounds
Opportunity to attend the elimination round rehearsals at Auditorium of Milano Fondazione Cariplo from October 1 to 3, 2026
Opportunity for private meetings with the young finalist conductors
Opportunity for private meetings with the Main Jury of the Cantelli Competition 2026
4 invitations to the exclusive Gala Dinner held after the Final Concert

Annual Contribution €2,500

Membership applications are submitted to the Board of Directors, which evaluates each candidate
according to the criteria set out in the Statute, available as a PDF in the dedicated section.
