CALL FOR COMPOSERS

The Cantelli Prize aims to actively contribute to the renewal of the symphonic repertoire, ideally connecting to Guido Cantelli’s commitment to the music of his time and emphasizing his role as an innovative and lively interpreter.

Hence the decision to commission the composition of a new symphonic work each year, which candidates in the Cantelli Prize competition will be required to perform during the preliminary rounds.

The call is open to composers of all nationalities and ages, for the creation of a symphonic work that will be an integral part of the program of the 14th edition of the International Conducting Competition “Guido Cantelli.”

Scores must be submitted by completing the online form no later than 12:00 AM GMT+1 on June 12, 2026.
